Nurture and Behaviour Support Assistant
Single Status 5
We are looking for a self-motivated Nurture and Behaviour Support assistant to
provide support and mentoring in and outside of the classroom for our children.
The role will involve supporting both individual children and small groups, to
support children’s learning, behaviour and emotional health.
This role would suit somebody who has experience of nurture provision and
supporting children with challenging behaviour.
The role is for 32 hours per week, term time only. This role is graded at Single
Status 5.
Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.45am until 3.15pm (Thurs 8.45-
5.15pm).
The successful candidate will:-
- enjoy working with children, be calm, patient and caring;
- have high expectations of children’s achievement;
- be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and carers;
- be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities;
- support our creative curriculum;
- be able to support children who can sometimes be challenging and reluctant to engage;
- enjoy working as part of a team
Chantry Community Primary School is a small community school, situated in
