The Role

As a Qualified Teacher in our 32-place nursery (8 places for 2-year-olds and 24 places for 3-year-olds), you will work collaboratively with a team of support staff to create engaging and enriching learning experiences. Your role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Monitoring and assessing children’s progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the nursery curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • The early identification of SEND and working with it experienced SENCO and external agencies to ensure that every child has the best start to their education.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a qualified teacher who is:

  • Passionate about early years education and committed to fostering a love of learning in young children.
  • Experienced in working with children aged 2-5 years, with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Experienced in SEND
