Package Description
Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who is flexible, hardworking and practical to join our team. The role will be based at our Holland Road site, a 2-form popular and inclusive Infant and Junior school.
Working hours from Monday to Thursday:
6.30 am to 11.00 am 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm
Working hours on Friday:
6.30 am to 10.30 am 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm
(These hours could be negotiable for the right applicant but would need to reflect opening and closing times of the school.)
Job Introduction
The successful candidate will:
- Work with us to provide the best possible learning environment for our children
- Be self-motivated, organised and able to work using their own initiative
- Be friendly and approachable
- Be competent in DIY skills such as basic plumbing, painting and carpentry skills
- Be the main point of contact for a range of contractors
- Be practical and able to cope with the demands of a large school
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors, in line with health and safety procedure.
- Ensure the upkeep of a high standard of maintenance and security of the school
