We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our site maintenance team as a Site Supervisor.


As a Site Supervisor, you will be involved in the maintenance and security of the school premises, ensuring a safe environment for staff, students and visitors.


Main duties will be:

  • To undertake general repairs and maintenance around the establishment
  • Ensure resources such as cleaning supplies and equipment are stored and     maintained appropriately
  • Maintain security of site, opening and closing of premises
  • Operate and regularly check heating, cooling lighting and security systems     etc
  • Undertake general porterage duties such as: moving furniture and equipment     within the school
  • Some travel between Trust schools will be expected, for which travel     expenses may be claimed.


The successful candidate will:

  • Have proficient technical and practical skills relevant to the job
  • Have experience of working in a school or maintenance / building industry
  • Be able to carry out maintenance and other practical tasks, such as basic     plumbing, carpentry, electrics, decorating and deep cleaning
  • Have a willingness to undertake appropriate training and professional     development
  • Have competency in communication, teamwork, and customer service
  • Have an understanding of health and safety
