Job Introduction

For a rewarding and fulfilling role, become part of our great team supporting adults with a learning disability living in their own homes.

This role involves working alongside people on a 1:1 basis offering support with daily living skills, for example, helping an individual to shop, maintain their home, offering emotional support and generally building independence skills. 
As part of the working week, and as part of our Learning Disability day services, this role includes supporting a small group of people in the community to participate in health and wellbeing activities on a planned basis.

Working hours are between 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. There are a range of full and part time hours available. 

Experience is not essential as induction and training will be provided. However, if you:

  • Have the ability to provide support respectively and sensitively.
  • Patience and understanding.
  • Work effectively, both within the team and independently

The role covers the geographical area of Hastings & Rother, Eastbourne through to Hailsham and the sounding areas. The nominal work base is in Bexhill 
There may be occasions when you need to provide support in other part of our county, therefore access to a vehicle for work is essential along with relevant business insurance.

Interviews will be held in person on Friday 9th May 2025 at Beeching Park, Beeching Road, Bexhill, TN39 3LJ. Interviews will include client involvement, a workplace assessment and meeting with managers of the service.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
