Are you a finance professional and CCAB qualified accountant ready to take on a key financial planning role within a large and dynamic local authority?
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning Team, co-ordinating and supporting the development of the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) and 10-year Capital Programme. This is an exciting time to join the Council, as we implement our new finance system and ready ourselves for proposed local government reforms.
If you have a strong background in financial planning and reporting and a passion for public service, we want to hear from you. You will have effective communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. If you are proactive, detail-orientated, and thrive in a flexible working environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
