Position: Part-Time Y5/6 Teacher
Location: Etchingham CE Primary School
Days: Tuesdays to Fridays
Duration: Fixed Term (One Year)

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Y5/6 teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 academic year. This role involves teaching four days a week (Tuesdays to Fridays) and taking on subject leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full management of the class, ensuring a high standard of education and well-being for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Take on subject leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
  • Participate in school events and activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Years 5 and 6.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead a subject area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the ethos and values of Etchingham CE Primary School.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
