The Fostering Pod Manager leads a Pod of Social Workers and Fostering Support Officers to deliver high quality support and supervision to BHCC Foster carers and Supported Lodgings carers. You will join an experienced and well respected Fostering Placements & Permanence management team, working together to ensure carers provide attuned therapeutic care to our children in care.
This is an interesting and varied role, which also includes Fostering Agency Advisor, responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operation of BHCC Fostering Panel.

Job Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity to join Brighton & Hove's experienced Fostering Placements and Permanence Service. We are looking to appoint a Pod Manager who can promote our relationship-based model of practice, in their management and leadership of a Fostering Support and Supervision Pod.
You will be responsible for a Pod of social workers supporting, supervising and training foster carers and supported lodgings carers.
You will have proven management skills and experience in child care and family placement social work.
You will be provided with support to develop into the Fostering Agency Advisor role if you do not already hold this experience.

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
