The out of hours helpline is a new part of our service which will deliver telephone support to parents and carers of children and young people from Surrey from 5pm – 11pm for 365 days of the year. Referrals/calls will be triaged to the service by CAMHS Duty Team. The service does not have direct contact with the children/young people as direct support is provided by CAMHS.

On application the candidates are required to detail their understanding of ADHD and how it may impact families.
The successful candidate will supervise practitioners and volunteers who will support the helpline.
The successful candidate will also supervise practitioners and volunteers who will deliver ADHD Awareness Training into Schools across Surrey.

Barnardo's offers a comprehensive training package in respect of managing people. Good communication skills are essential and a sound working knowledge/experience of recording to IT systems is a requirement to role.

The successful candidate must be able to drive and have access to their own car as this is essential for service delivery.
