Senior Social Worker: £41,127 - £45,519 per annum based on a 36 hour working week

Our roles across East Surrey are based in both hospital and community settings giving you the opportunity to choose which setting is your preferred and most in line with your profile and experience. Our offer includes different contract types and working patterns/hours.

Our Reigate & Banstead Locality Team (based in Reigate): Reigate and Banstead Locality is a large, fast paced locality team which would best suit somebody who thrives working in busy environments, has excellent time management skills and has excellent skills working with people. The team is friendly and supportive and offers excellent career development through the variety and complexity of workload undertaken. We have embraced agile working and offer flexible arrangements to work from home or the office to make best use of time.

Our Tandridge Locality Team (based in Oxted): Tandridge Locality Team is a busy, hard working locality team working with adults of all ages who require support when they experience change to their life that requires social care intervention. We are a caring team and pride ourselves on the support and care we give one another as well as to people who require our service. The work is rewarding and challenging and in return we promise you will be part of a strong, kind and friendly team. We are looking for people who share those values and can bring their own unique talents and skills to share in our team. In return we can offer good career development, training and supportive supervision. Our East Surrey Hospital Team (based in Redhill): East Surrey Hospital are looking for social workers to work in hospital setting, a fast paced environment working alongside multi-agency colleagues to provide a good hospital discharge experience that is safe for our residents. Our team deliver two functions: the Discharge function and the Assessment function. The assessments are carried out using the D2A pathway, therefore good time management and excellent assessment skills are required from social workers who would like to join us. The discharge function is carried out by social care assistants working alongside the integrated hospital discharge team. We welcome your applications; we are a such a friendly caring and supportive team.

For Social Worker roles you will need to have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and be registered with Social Work England. We recognise there will be exceptions to this so please speak to us if you are in any doubt. 

For Senior Social Worker roles, substantial post qualification professional experience as a social worker would also be required. Experience of providing professional supervision (can include unqualified and non-professional supervision) would be desirable but is not essential.
